It's 2nd week into my latest employment and I must say things are going quite thin and doze-inducing with my head slumped on my collarbone and saliva dripping from the side of my mouth and the mechanical pencil I'm using that happens to be pink risking a magnificent fall from my fingers to the carpeted ground.

But it's alright.

I've bought Cheer Chen's Live concert cd home. Met up with Pamela (you can see her blog under the Buddhist blog link) and she passed my her dvd of the concert. It's great you know, considering that some of the things that Chen Qi Zhen say in the audio cd don't make sense without actually seeing the situation when it's being said. And to my horror, Pam pointed out to me that the bassist is a female.

"But the bassist is bald leh. You sure female?"

She nodded.

No wonder the bassist looked gay to me with the earrings and all. The bassist is a female to begin with!

I admit I stereotype against women when it comes to stage attire. Long hair, feminine poses, clothes that make a significant effort at showing your feminity (is that what it's called?). Apparently this bassist of Chen Qi Zhen's does away with the rules.

Downloaded a tab of the song "All Dead" by L'arc En Ciel. Not that it was my favourite song from their indie albums, but I was really intrigued by the rhythm parts that went along, and the melodic solo part.

It's only when you see what other musicians are doing then you realise that you are actually doing shit and are miles and zillions of light years that no longer count as "light" years given the immense distance

from how people have pushed the boundaries on the guitar.

Seriously, I'm thinking of just sticking to simple chords. But on playing the Laruku song for myself, I just realise how stupid I am.

I have no fucking idea how to work the bass guitar, so while the triads for the Laruku song is power, I can't really follow the way it's done on track. Guess I'll have to stick to pedal note triads with the pedal comfortably situated near the triad.

Sounds quite a lot huh. Well that's due to the Laruku song.

Anyone interested in L'arc En Ciel's indie albums can come find me. Minus their androgynous image in their early days, their music is top notch.

What else can I say about my life?

Oh yes there are new people in the office today and tomorrow. One I already know from a heartbreaking attempt to pick the grapes, the other 2 I heard are quite pretty, as confirmed by a girl in my office.

I do not know the mental inclinations of ladies in general but, I shall leave it to her judgement.

I mean, how the hell am I bothered? Remember Robbie William's song "Lovers' Supreme"?

"All the best women are married, all the handsome men are gay."

While the latter part of the line is confirmed not true, with me being at the forefront of disputing examples, the former seems... very true.

I don't have to go further on how true it is. All the best women are most probably taken, either by force, by wit, or by cunning... link us.

Forgive the euphemism but as for The rest, quite unsavoury characters, either without looks, without character, maybe without just one of the two, with unfortunate occasions where neither are in effect.

Shallow lah. I'm such a person of immense depth already at a precocious age that there seems to be no girl who can match me as well as look pretty.

Admit it, I'm bound to be lonely for quite a while.

And I'm not the least bothered by it.
