Total Sianness

Shawn said that my blog couldn't compare to YiJian's. Cos the guy's full of intellectual discourse in his blog. For a taste of what this means,

Well I'll tell you, my blog(ged) used to be something like that. My old blog over at blogdrive. It's still up, by heavens, and I haven't got the motivation to put it down. For a musty taste of what my blog used to be,

http://mackv.blogdrive.com/

If you actually bother to go through every single post (I think it's a few hundred, not that much) you'll see the trend goes: from super-long, angst ridden essay posts (I mean really hell fckin' essays) in the beginning till the late middle of most posts, to super-short, experimental short-story posts to guitar commentaries towards the very very end of the blog life.

I mean, before the guitar a lot of my expression was through the written word, albeit on a rather immature level. When the guitar came it was a whole new language and image but most of all a new discipline. Guitar taught me introspective, it taught me reflection, it taught me irritation and temper, it taught me creativity, it taught me how small I was humping on its fretboard.

If my expressions through the written word was unrestrained, unstructured and immature, I'm determined to make guitar a discipline for myself. So much so that it takes a lot of my expressive instinct... These days, I'd rather post a picture that would speak much more that what my words can convey.
