Thank you for putting up with my long and convoluted post previously. I assure you that in the blistering cold of the Central Library, there's nothing your mind wouldn't command your fingers to type.
Damn sian with life. You can't make meeting time a big part of your life without giving up personal space, and when the society sanctions and includes meeting time into its very foundation you know you have to run away and fly. But we can't leave the things that have become so dear to us and we thus become trapped in the cycle of meeting time.
For those people who have said they don't intend to stay in Singapore, please do not use this as an excuse to avoid facing the future. The problem is not in Singapore, it's in the world. It's in our nature. And it's equally stupid to exchange the current set of problems and messy life you have in one society for another set of problems and routine of another society in another place on the world.
