The Darkness sound is surprisingly still there. Seems that the high and rarefied air of Queen-ness left when Justin left. I guess Dan Hawkins and Richie Edwards retained the shit that made Darkness.
With Richie on the vocals, I think the set's just got edgier and rougher. That's some Hard Rock for you, as compared to smooth high vocals from Justin.
I'll be buying their abum that's coming out on the 25th of February.
Think it's gonna be good.
